I liked the book and I learned a lot. Unfortunately, it wasn’t about SEO. After reading Google’s SEO eBook, I felt this one lacked substance that was needed. Now if you want to learn about the history and some basic Strategies, then I recommend this book. The book’s content was different than I expected…and it made me slightly disinterested. The beginning was great, but we just never arrived at the material that I was expecting.

This short book is helpful. Mostly, the author takes readers from then beginning of the internet and the first search engines all the way until now. What worked in the past does not work now, and that is important. SEO from 2000 won’t work! Finally, the author makes a few clear statements on what to do today, including how to use key words in content, which links to cultivate and which to avoid.
